Guitars in the Classroom inspires, trains and equips general classroom teachers and specialists to integrate music and music making across the academic curriculum through “song-based instruction” so students of all ages have the opportunity to learn through making music together in class, everyday. Our work prepares and supports educators to lead the way competently and confidently, employing music as a powerful tool for reaching all learners, teaching all subjects, and building character and community in their classrooms.

The 2010 Los Angeles Flamenco Festival is proud to partner with Guitars in the Classroom in supporting music education in our children's schools. Enter our benefit auction for the chance to win some very exciting prizes while helping raise funds for GITC's outreach programs.

Silent auction will be held in the lobby of the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center during the evening of Friday's and Sunday's performances. Opportunity drawing tickets for additional prizes will also be available.
